I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, and I received my Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Benedictine University. I specialize in working with children, particularly ages 10 and under. I emphasize providing an empathetic and positive space for every child and work to help each individual to learn and develop important skills, discover and grow personal strengths, and appreciate their own uniqueness. I incorporate multiple modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and particularly like to integrate play, art, and mindfulness into treatment. I have experience working with children who are managing anxiety disorders, emotion regulation difficulties, ADHD, stress, low self-esteem, and self-confidence. I love animals, the outdoors, and being creative and I like to spend my free time out in nature.
