Hi, my name is Ava Gibbons and I am currently pursuing my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Lewis University. As I start my senior year, I am taking an Internship in Psychology course, and choose to complete my supervised hours at Beyond Healing! Over the next 15 weeks, I look forward to learning more about the ins and outs of a counseling center and overall learning more about this field.
Once I graduate I am planning on starting my Masters in Mental Health Counseling. I have an interest in working with teens and young adults who may have experienced family trauma, anxiety, and/or depression.
I am so excited to be working at Beyond Healing. All of the staff is so warm and welcoming. I look forward to learning from them about counseling and a more holistic approach to healing and wellness
