“Self-care is how you take your power back.” – Lalah Delia

My name is Marram Salman, and I earned a master’s degree in Counseling at Governors State
University. As your therapist, my goal is to provide you with a safe and supportive environment
for self-improvement. I believe that you have the ability to take control over your mind, body,
and soul to overcome from whatever obstacles that life has thrown at you. I enjoy working with
individuals in all age groups, such as children, adolescents, and adults. My experience includes
grief and loss, anxiety, depression, and family and couples counseling. I have additional
experience with art and play therapy, and the Gottman method.

My passion and focus are to help you be the best version of yourself and find healing. My
therapeutic approach is empathetic and empowering. I utilize different methods and
techniques to meet your needs while maintaining a solution–focused approach.

Seeking help is an overwhelming feeling, but I provide a safe space to be heard and feel
validated. I can’t promise all of the answers to your issues, though I can provide empathy,
encouragement, and support throughout our journey together.

Specialties: grief and loss, anxiety, depression, relational issues, self-esteem, family and couple related issues.
