Jessica Foster

I am a counseling intern currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My approach to counseling is warm, person-centered, and supportive. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and accepted as they explore their emotions, experiences, and goals.

I believe clients are the experts of their own lives, and I work collaboratively with them as they build insight, strengthen coping skills, and move toward personal growth. I have five years of clinical inpatient hospital experience working with individuals experiencing a variety of mental health concerns, which has strengthened my ability to provide compassionate, grounded, and supportive care.

I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, and I enjoy using creative, developmentally appropriate, and play-based interventions when working with younger clients. My clinical interests include anxiety, trauma, grief, life transitions, self-esteem, relationship concerns, and emotional regulation. My goal is to meet clients where they are, support them with empathy and authenticity, and help them feel empowered as they navigate life’s challenges.
