As a therapist I am devoted to providing a safe compassionate environment for my client’s healing process. I am dedicated to my client’s journey of becoming a healthier person. Through encouragement and strength based therapy my client can see their potential and begin to flourish. I am passionate, genuine and truly care about my client’s experience in therapy.
I have a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Counseling. I see individuals, couples, and children. The majority of clients I see in therapy are children ranging from the ages of 4 to 17. I have a great deal of experience with children. I have previously taught school for 15 years ranging from grades preschool to eighth grade, as well as, teaching behavioral disorder classes and special education classes. I am also a mother of 5 children. I feel it is so important to give children encouragement and an opportunity to tell their story. I use various techniques in therapy including art therapy and play therapy. I want children to feel heard and valued.
