Hello! I’m Ashlee Burks, a graduate student at Governors State University, pursuing my master’s in Marriage, Family, and Couples Counseling. My work with clients is focused on fostering communication, strengthening relationships, trust, and openness as I view my clients as the experts. I believe we all have the ability to become the best versions of ourselves. As a counselor in training, I seek to provide a safe space for you to find your voice and create your own journey. Life and relationships offer many fulfilling experiences, as they present many challenges too. I believe when we have honest conversations, explore unhealthy patterns, and work to implement healthy ones, that fosters growth and change.
