My name is Marram Salman, and I am a graduate-intern from Governors State University, Illinois. I obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Trinity Christian College, and will be completing my master’s degree in Counseling, specializing in marriage, couples and family.
As your therapist, my goal is to provide you with a safe and supportive environment for self-improvement. I believe that you have the ability to take control over your mind, body, and soul to overcome from whatever obstacles that life has thrown at you. I enjoy working with individuals in all age groups, such as children, adolescents, and adults. My experience includes grief and loss, anxiety, depression, and self-esteem issues. I have additional experience with art and play therapy, and the Gottman method.
My passion and focus are to help you be the best version of yourself and find healing. My therapeutic approach is empathetic, and empowering. I utilize different methods and techniques to meet your needs, while maintaining a solution – focused approach.
Seeking help is an overwhelming feeling, but I provide a safe space to be heard and feel validated. I can’t promise all of the answers to your problems, though I can provide empathy, encouragement, and support throughout our journey together.
